About ODO

Three letters. Three to ten ingredients per bag. Sourced from farms we'd visit. Made by people who feed their own dogs the same food. ODO is what dog food looks like when nobody is hiding anything.

Why this brand exists

Most dog food is built for the manufacturer's convenience, not the dog's biology. Kibble is cheap to make, cheap to ship, and shelf-stable for two years — at the cost of being extruded at 250°F until almost everything nutritionally meaningful is dead. Eighty percent of American dogs eat it for every meal of their lives.

The freeze-dried raw category is the corrective. Real ingredients, never cooked, frozen at –50°F under vacuum so the moisture sublimates while enzymes, amino acids, and heat-sensitive vitamins survive intact. The closest a domestic dog will ever get to what its biology was actually designed for.

But the brands that built the freeze-dried category sell into pet stores with packaging that looks like pet food and a story that reads like a supplement label. They've earned the trust of the customer who already buys raw. They have not earned the trust of the customer who treats her dog like family.

ODO is for that customer.

What we promise

Real food, plainly. Three to ten ingredients per recipe. Every one of them recognizable. We name our hero protein, name the farm, and let the rest of the bag stay quiet.

Single-origin, by default. Every protein traces to a named farm or fishery. We publish it. See where every ingredient comes from.

Beautiful, because we are not embarrassed to feed our dogs. A bag of ODO on the kitchen counter looks like something from a kitchen, not a pet store.

Owned, end to end. We sell direct. We do not sell into PetSmart, Petco, or Walmart. We will never.

Where we are

ODO LLC is registered in Illinois. The brand was founded in 2026. Our launch lineup ships in July 2026.

We are a small, founder-led company. Every email gets read. Every bag is shipped because someone here decided the recipe was worth your dog's daily meal.
